Your old newspapers could offer comfort to animals in our community

Can you help keep our furry friends of Mesa County comfortable by donating your old newspapers?

Next time you finish those brain-teasing puzzles in your newspaper or catch up on local news, remember that your paper has another important role in our community!

Mesa County Animal Services (MCAS) relies on newspaper donations to line crates and manage waste for puppies still in the process of potty training. Your old newspapers can make a world of difference for the animals at our shelter. 

How can you help?

Individuals willing to donate old newspapers to MCAS to keep animals dry and comfortable can drop them off at the Mesa County Animal Services office. 

Where: 971A Coffman Road in Whitewater

When: Monday through Friday: 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

When: Saturday and Sunday: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
