Empowering foster youth in Mesa County through programs and mentorship opportunities

For foster youth and young adults, Mesa County Passages offers several programs and experiences to help transition from foster care to independent adulthood. These include life skills education, goal-focused weekly coaching, housing vouchers, and other support to help obtain independent housing and transition services. Learn more about Passages.

The Mesa County Workforce Center also offers resources for job seekers through the WIOA-funded Career Development Program and Employment Services. Learn more about job seeker resources. 

If you’re interested in becoming a mentor, consider joining Foster Alumni Mentors, an organization that serves any individual 16 years old and up who has experienced foster care—particularly those who have aged out of the foster care system, those who are currently struggling to meet their basic needs and those who are seeking opportunities to stabilize and improve their lives.
