Public Meeting: Mesa County 32 1/2 Road & Clifton Campus Roadway Improvements Project
Residents are invited to attend a public meeting from 5 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 18 at the Clifton Branch Library, 3270 D 1/2 Road, to learn about the upcoming Mesa County 32 1/2 Road & Clifton Campus Roadway Improvements Project. This community-driven session will offer a comprehensive look into the future roadway advancements to improve our local transportation system.

Project Highlights
1. Connection of 32 1/2 Road to E Road: Will streamline traffic flow, enhancing connectivity.
2. Widening of D 3/4 Road: Upgrades will be made to align with Mesa County roadway standards, ensuring safer and smoother travel.
3. Grand Valley Canal Structural Enhancements: The Grand Valley Canal structure on 32 1/2 Road will be replaced with a wider structure to accommodate the new roadway layout.
4. Construction of a Compact Roundabout: Positioned at the crossroads of 32 1/2 Road and E Road, this modern design will aid in effective traffic management and reduced congestion.
5. Pedestrian-Friendly Facilities: Emphasizing safety and accessibility, widened shoulders and pedestrian facilities will be introduced, stretching through the intersection and extending north of the Grand Valley Canal.

As Mesa County continues to grow, it is essential to continually update and refine our infrastructure to meet the needs of our residents,” said Daniel Larkin, Mesa County Transportation Engineer. “We encourage everyone to join us at the open house to learn more, ask questions, and share feedback.”
