Battle of the Bookcliffs 03-27-2025

We are thrilled to announce the dates for the 2025 show, March 27-29 in the United Arena!

Although Battle of the Bookcliffs seems new, this is our 57th annual show! Initially, it began as a local spring beef show held by Mr. Appleton, then transferred to Richard White as the 4-H & FFA Spring Beef Show, then evolving into what we now know as Battle of the Bookcliffs.

This event is open to all states and exhibitors ages four to twenty-one.

So far, our contestants have traveled all the way from Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico, and Arizona! We plan to continue growing and improving throughout the years ahead. Bring the kids, cattle, and family out to enjoy a great show!

8:00 am Barns Open

Friday March 28, 2025

• 8:00 am Scales Open
• 12:00 pm All cattle must be in-place.
• 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm Check-In & Scale’s Close
• 5:00 pm Showmanship (Peewee, Senior, Intermediate, Junior)
  • All champion showmen report to the backdrop at the conclusion of all showmanship divisions for a group photo.

• 9:30 am Prospect Market Cattle Show Begins
• Prospect Breeding Heifer show will follow 30 minutes after the Prospect Market Cattle show and Champion photos are taken.
