New street lighting planned for 32 1/2 Road corridor
Mesa County Commissioners approved an agreement with Xcel Energy to install new street lighting along the 32 1/2 Road corridor. The lighting will improve nighttime visibility and safety for drivers, pedestrians and nearby residents as part of ongoing roadway improvements.

PILT funds will help support wildfire response by local fire districts
Mesa County Commissioners approved allocating $100,000 in federal Payment in Lieu of Taxes (PILT) funding to local fire districts that respond to wildfires on federally managed lands. The funding supports fire districts across the county that help protect communities and public lands.
