Snow Removal Crews Work Around the Clock to Ensure Safe Winter Travel
As you head out to spend time with loved ones this Christmas Eve and throughout the holiday season, we want to remind you Mesa County’s snowplow crews are ready to ensure safe roads, no matter what conditions the weather brings.
Winter weather in Colorado can change quickly — when snow does fall, our dedicated crews begin clearing major roads and bus routes around 2 a.m., applying a sand and salt mixture to improve traction and melt ice. Crews work 24/7 to restore near-normal driving conditions as quickly as possible.
Please note that streets within incorporated cities are not included in the County’s snow removal program.
