During the Board of Mesa County Commissioners' Dec. 10 public hearing, they unanimously approved the $120,000 third contract extension with Onsite Electronics Recycling to ensure our community’s old electronics are recycled responsibly.

Each year, the Mesa County Hazardous Waste Disposal Facility helps keep over 200,000 pounds of electronic waste out of the landfill! While offering this service to our residents, we protect our environment from harmful contaminants found in electronics and stay compliant with the State of Colorado’s e-waste ban.

Electronic waste can contain heavy metals that risk contaminating soil and water if not disposed of properly. Recycling e-waste protects our community and supports sustainability.

Drop off your electronics at Mesa County’s Hazardous Waste Disposal Facility to help us make a difference!
