Introducing our new Business Services Representative
The Employment Services and Career Development teams are excited to share that Sierra Rode is our new Business Services Representative at the Mesa County Workforce Center (MCWFC), 512 29 ½ Road.
Rode leads business outreach efforts for the MCWFC across Mesa County. She’ll be working closely with employers to understand their workforce needs, connect them with qualified talent and understand how the MCWFC can serve them best, so they can thrive as Mesa County businesses. This position was created, in part, by listening to the needs of our business community and their desire for a single point of contact at the MCWFC.
Her work ties directly into our core employer support services. With a focus on building meaningful partnerships, Sierra will help employers tap into the full range of MCWFC’s employer support services, including:
- Expert recruiting and hiring assistance
- Job posting and candidate pre-screening
- Specialized hiring events and community job fairs
- Paid internships and on-the-job training funding
- Access to labor market insights, employee assessments, and business center resources
