Defendants and Crime Victims may request  copies of records related to their case. These records are known as Discovery. Discovery may include police reports and other documentation.

Pro Se Defendant Discovery

If you are  Pro Se Defendant (not represented by legal counsel), you may request copies of discovery specific to your case.  Discovery may include police reports and other documentation.

If you are a defendant requesting a copy of your records, please fill out and use the below form. In order to receive discovery, your signature must be notarized to ensure authenticity:

Victim Discovery

If you are a victim requesting a copy of discovery in your case, please fill out and use the below form. In order to receive discovery, your signature must be notarized to ensure authenticity:

CORA and CCJRA Requests

Requests for documents and other material in the possession of the District Attorney’s Office other than through the discovery process are governed by the Colorado Open Records Act (CORA), C.R.S. 24-72-200.1 et seq. and the Colorado Criminal Justice Records Act (CCJRA), C.R.S. 24-72-301 et seq.
