Our core responsibilities

  • Promoting Access and Coordination of Care (B): We strive to ensure that everyone can easily access behavioral health services and receive coordinated care.
  • Supporting the Vulnerable: Stability is critical, especially for vulnerable community members. We focus on connecting them to the support they need.
  • Facilitating Early Identification and Connection: Early intervention is crucial. We aim to identify behavioral health challenges early and promptly connect individuals to the right services.
  • Educating and Preventing: Community education and prevention services are vital in our approach to behavioral health.
  • Data Collection and Quality Improvement: We are committed to collecting relevant community data and using it to improve our services' quality continuously.

Mesa County is committed to spearheading change and improving services for those in our community dealing with mental health, substance use, and broader social health needs.

How does Behavioral Health improve mental health in the Grand Valley?
