Mesa County approved contracts with four local suppliers to provide gravel materials for transportation projects and road maintenance in 2026. The contracts help crews maintain gravel roads more efficiently while supporting safer travel and extending the life of county roadways.

The Mesa County Department of Human Services (MCDHS) staff gathered outside the Workforce Center this morning for a Memorial Day flag planting ceremony led by Veteran Services Officers Tony Lee and Laura Stanley.

Mesa County approved a $96,000 trail recovery agreement to support rehabilitation work in the Turner Gulch burn area following last year’s fire.
