During their Feb. 18 public hearing, the Board of Mesa County Commissioners unanimously approved a $120,000 contract with EIS Solutions, LLC, to provide federal legislative and regulatory affairs services through Dec. 31, 2025.

This contract aims to strengthen relationships between Mesa County and federal partners and better advocate our community’s specific needs with more attention and resources allocated to emerging federal policies and federal grant opportunities.

“This will increase accountability and communication and also strengthen relationships we have in D.C. We have a lot of exciting things coming up with: The Shoshone Water Rights, the Department of Interior, and 74% public lands in Mesa County,” Mesa County Commissioner Bobbie Daniel said. “There are a lot of reasons why we should be engaged to a higher level, and I think this will provide a great service to Mesa County.”

Mesa County looks forward to enhancing the efficiency of securing federal grants and ensuring the County’s voice is well represented in Washington, D.C.
