Mesa County welcomes new County Administrator Todd Hollenbeck
After a national search and unanimous support from the Board of Mesa County Commissioners, Todd Hollenbeck will officially assume the role of Mesa County Administrator on Jan. 4, 2025.
With a 25-year career in Mesa County, Hollenbeck brings a wealth of experience and proven leadership to his new role. Since joining Mesa County in 1999, he has managed multimillion-dollar projects, overseen five departments with more than 200 employees, and guided strategic initiatives to enhance Mesa County’s operations and services.
"Todd Hollenbeck embodies the leadership, vision, and dedication Mesa County needs to continue to thrive," said Chair of the Board of Mesa County Commissioners Bobbie Daniel. "We are confident in his ability to address challenges and seize opportunities that benefit our community."
Hollenbeck’s leadership philosophy emphasizes collaboration, strategic planning, and a commitment to serving the residents of Mesa County.

Hollenbeck’s appointment follows a competitive selection process that attracted 16 applicants from across the nation.
