Meet Maddy — a 7-year-old Great Pyrenees mix with the sweetest soul you’ll ever meet. She’s gentle, calm, and happiest when snuggled up on the couch next to her favorite person. Could that person be you?

Maddy hasn’t had an easy story thus far in her life. She arrived at Mesa County Animal Services (MCAS) as a stray — severely matted, covered in foxtails, and battling Sarcoptic Mange. Despite it all, her spirit shines bright. The MCAS staff describes her as “the sweetest girl on the planet.” 

She’s still growing her fur back, but what she really needs is someone to fill the biggest gap of all — the space in her heart for a forever family.

Maddy’s perfect home is a calm, cozy household where relaxation and cuddles are the main activities. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will shower you with love, Maddy is ready to be your best friend for life.
