Mesa County establishes phone line for TABOR refund check assistance
A dedicated phone line has been established to address inquiries and concerns related to the recent $100 TABOR refund checks issued to Mesa County voters. Residents who have not received their check, received one in error, or need a replacement check are encouraged to call 970-256-1584 for assistance by the end of February. The phone line is operational from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Mesa County previously announced the distribution of these checks in December 2024, as detailed in the original press release.
Verify your address before requesting a replacement check
If you need a replacement check, please verify that your voter registration address is up to date. Incorrect or outdated addresses may prevent you from receiving your check. Visit GoVoteColorado.gov to confirm or update your address before contacting Mesa County.
Ensuring your information is current will help us process your request efficiently and avoid future delays.
The phone line, staffed by a Mesa County representative, will provide personalized support by gathering information and coordinating with the appropriate division to research and resolve issues related to the TABOR refund checks.

About TABOR Refunds
TABOR refunds, mandated under Colorado’s Taxpayer Bill of Rights (TABOR), are issued when government revenue exceeds constitutional limits. The recent refund checks are part of this commitment to returning surplus funds to taxpayers.
