2023 State of the County

The Board of Mesa County Commissioners released its annual State of the County report today, highlighting its commitment to serving the community.

In its first hundred days in office, the board has been dedicated to finding new and innovative ways to support and improve the lives of residents.

"At Team Mesa, we're committed to making a positive impact on our community," said Janet Rowland, Chair of the Board of Mesa County Commissioners." Our first hundred days have been focused on finding innovative solutions and ways to expand access to mental health services."

"As we move forward, we're excited to build on the progress we've made and continue working to make Mesa County an even better place to live, work, and raise a family," said Bobbie Daniel, County Commissioner. "We are working hard to protect families' livelihoods in Mesa County from the devastating impacts of the Japanese Beetle."

"We're proud of what Team Mesa has accomplished so far this year in making broadband efforts come to fruition by working with our state and federal partners," said Cody Davis, County Commissioner. "We will remain steadfast in providing the highest-quality services to our residents and businesses."

Looking ahead, the board plans to continue working closely with residents, businesses, and community organizations to identify opportunities to elevate the quality of life in Mesa County.
