County begins first stages of updating strategic plan

Many department directors and leaders within Mesa County have come together this month to begin the first stage of developing Mesa County’s updated strategic plan. 

Our strategic plan is the guiding force that keeps Mesa County grounded and aligned throughout all departments, with a shared vision and mission at the top of mind when making budgetary decisions and serving residents. 

Developing our updated strategic plan is an energizing and meaningful effort — not simply the creation of a document, but the fostering of a mindset and culture that brings us closer to our goals and strengthens how we serve residents with excellence in every area of county government.
