The 21st Judicial District is offering residents with certain active warrants an opportunity to clear their records and move forward with their lives. Warrant Forgiveness Day will take place on Saturday, Oct. 19, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Mesa County Justice Center, 125 N. Spruce St.

This event is designed to help people with misdemeanor, petty offense, traffic, or probation violation warrants set a new court date or potentially even close their cases. Most importantly, no arrests will be made at the event for qualifying warrants.

The goal is to assist individuals in resolving their legal matters so they can focus on stability and success. Representatives from the Probation Office and Criminal Justice Services Department will be available to provide support with resources and programs.

Felony warrants, domestic violence cases, sex offenses, and out-of-county warrants are not eligible for this event. Those with these warrants or municipal court charges should not attend.

For questions about warrant eligibility, contact the Public Defenders Office at junction@coloradodefenders.us.
