Elections secures grant to enhance election administration
Mesa County Elections has secured a $100,000 grant from the Institute for Responsive Government (IRG), a nonpartisan nonprofit organization dedicated to helping policymakers make government operations more efficient, accessible, and responsive. This grant will support the Mesa County Clerk and Recorder's Office Election Division's mission to plan and operationalize secure, efficient, and accessible election administration.
Clerk and Recorder Bobbie Gross emphasized the grant's importance in a recent public hearing, stating, "This grant allows us to purchase essential items that are not currently in our budget, which will help us improve our election processes."
