Since 1937, Colorado has ensured that older residents have access to financial assistance and health care through the Old Age Pension (OAP) program. If you’re 60 or older and facing financial hardship, OAP may provide the support you need to maintain your well-being and independence.

To qualify for Colorado’s OAP program, you must be 60 years or older, a Colorado resident and in need of financial and health care assistance. If you meet these criteria, you may be eligible for support to help cover basic living expenses and medical needs.

How to apply:

  • Complete a written application (a representative will help you)
  • Bring required documents (if you don’t have everything, you can provide more later)
  • Set up an appointment (don’t wait to get the support you deserve)

If you or loved ones could benefit from OAP, take the first step today by calling Health First Colorado’s Customer Service line at 800-221-3943. You may also call Enrollment Support at 888-367-6557.
