County parks and grounds maintenance contract approved

January 29, 2025

During the Jan. 28 administrative public hearing, the Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved a $171,481 contract with Grand Mesa Landscape Maintenance to provide parks and grounds maintenance at various locations across Mesa County in 2025. 

The following locations will receive maintenance through the contract. 

Parks:

Coronado Park

Kimwood Park

Orchard Mesa Lions Club Park 

Long Family Memorial Park

Lynwood Park

Rocky Mountain Elementary Park

Teardrop Park

Veterans’ Park

Village Nine Park

Grounds:

Mesa County Behavioral Health 

Criminal Justice Services Department - Powell building

Criminal Justice Services Department - Escalante building

Clifton Community Center

Mesa County Libraries Clifton Branch

Mesa County Community Services 

Mesa County Fairgrounds 

Grand Valley Transit Downtown Transfer Facility

Grand Valley Transit West Transfer Facility

Mesa County Justice Center

Old Mesa County Courthouse

Mesa County Sheriff’s Office
