As part of a major construction project in Clifton, 32 ½ Road will be closed from E Road to E ½ Road at the beginning of October. The road will be closed for phase two of the 32 ½ Road project, which will improve safety, pedestrian access, and stormwater management.

The detour starts on Oct. 5 and will be in place until summer 2027. The road will be closed to traffic during the project, and local access will be maintained.

Construction crews will be working from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Route 10 on Grand Valley Transit is affected by the detour, with a few stops in the area closed during construction. GVT has added courtesy stops along E Road as an alternative.

Residents in the area can get in touch with the contractor for the project, Mountain Valley Contracting, Inc., at 970-644-6560, or 32.5rdphase2project@gmail.com.
