Melody Estates Drainage Project to begin on April 1

On April 1, Mesa County Public Works and the contractor will begin the Melody Estates Drainage Project to resolve stormwater flooding issues at the Clarinet Lane cul-de-sac and Piano Lane bend.  

Travel & Other Impacts 

Clarinet Lane and Piano Lane may be reduced to a single lane throughout the duration of the project. These lane closures may cause up to 10-minute delays. 

Project Schedule and Information

The project will start on April 1, 2024, and operate Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Project Summary 

The project will include excavation, installation of chamber beds, hydrodynamic separators, diversion manholes, stormwater piping, roadway resurfacing, and landscape restoration to the Clarinet Lane cul-de-sac and Piano Lane bend. 

The project aims to reach completion in June of 2024.
