Progression on Clifton 1st and Grand Road project

The Clifton 1st and Grand Road project, designed to improve road safety, realign 1st Street, connect Grand Avenue from 1st Street to 2nd Street, and provide sidewalks, is still expected to reach completion in the springtime of 2023 despite winter weather delays.

Construction crews are currently working on building a solid road foundation from the bottom layer of the road up. Next time you drive by the project, notice the new road and sidewalks are taking shape!

The project is in operation Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Access to homes and businesses within the construction boundary will be maintained at all times, with minimal delays. However, please remember that traffic detours, closings, and openings may change as the project progresses.
