Work to enhance roadways near 32 ½ Road and the Clifton Campus will begin Dec. 2. The project includes upgrades to three key areas, improving traffic flow and safety for residents.

Project Details

  • Phase 1: Crews will replace the bridge over the Grand Valley Irrigation Canal on 32 ½ Road, just south of Friendship Drive. Work is expected to wrap up by mid-April 2025.
  • Phase 2: A new roundabout and roadway extension will be constructed at the intersection of E Road and 32 ½ Road, connecting to the south end of 32 ½ Road near D 7/8 Road. This phase will last about four months.
  • Phase 3: D ¾ Road will be widened between East Chukar Way and West Chukar Way to a full residential road. A new sidewalk will link Rocky Mountain Elementary Park to the existing sidewalk west of Mountain Vista Drive.

The project will operate Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Detours

  • Marked detour routes will guide drivers around construction zones. Updates will be shared as work progresses.

  • The E Road and 32 ½ Road intersection will close for about four months during Phase 2.
  • D ¾ Road between East and West Chukar Way will close during Phase 3.
