Free Fraud and Scam Prevention Classes
Free fraud and scam prevention classes return to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office
The Mesa County Sheriff's Office will again host free monthly fraud and scam prevention classes. These classes provide community members with information about common, new, and complex fraud and scam schemes. The goal is to help our community members identify these schemes and avoid falling victim, and to learn what to do if they become a fraud or scam victim. Morning classes will be held monthly, and a new evening class will be held quarterly.
Each class will be led by an investigator or investigators from the Mesa County Sheriff's Office Property Crimes Unit. Participants are encouraged to ask questions throughout the class!
