Notice of Waiver of Keep Jobs in Colorado Act for Landfill Gas Collection and Control System Construction Contract.

Pursuant to C.R.S. 8-17-101 et seq. “Keep Jobs In Colorado Act” (“Act”), Mesa County Government does hereby provide notice that it has waived the requirements of the Act as it pertains to the Landfill Gas Collection and Control System Public Works Project. Due to the specialized nature of the Project and unique qualifications required to perform the services needed in the contract, sufficient Colorado labor is not available, and the County does find that compliance with the Act would create an undue burden that would substantially prevent the Project from proceeding to completion.
