The Pretrial Diversion Program offers second chances through resources and rehabilitation

Criminal Justice Services’ Pretrial Diversion Program is designed to give individuals a second chance by addressing the root causes of their legal issues without the long-term consequences of a conviction. Participants engage in a set of court-approved stipulations instead of proceeding through the standard legal system. Upon successful completion, the case may be dismissed, or charges may never be filed, allowing eligible individuals to resolve their cases outside the courtroom while working toward a positive outcome.

On March 13, 2025 Regional Transportation Planning Office Staff will be holding an Open House event about this plan at the Central Library in Grand Junction from 4:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. At this event, there will be a brief presentation at 4:15 p.m. and again at 5:15 p.m.
