Most Mesa County offices are closed on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 23 and 24, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Mesa County Board of Public Health voted in favor today of entering into an At-Will Employment Agreement with Xavier Crockett to be the next Executive Director of Mesa County Public Health.

On Nov. 14, at their administrative public hearing, the Board of County Commissioners approved a letter presented by Assessor Brent Goff regarding Governor Polis' Special Session on property tax reduction.

Mesa County Commissioners issued a letter of support to Representative Lauren Boebert to express their support for the Restoring American Energy Dominance Act, H.R. 6009, that has been introduced to Congress in response to the Bureau of Land Management’s proposed Fluid Mineral Leases and Leasing Process Rule.

Commissioners approved the first amendment to the contract with Justice Works Colorado for Child Welfare CORE Services.
