All animal enforcement response is handled by the Mesa County Sheriff's Office and each municipalities' police departments. To make a report or if you have found an animal, contact non emergency dispatch at 970-242-6707 for all jurisdictions within Mesa County. Below are the links to each agency websites:

  • Colorado Revised Statute 25-4-603 requires all animal bites be reported. If a bite has occurred, please contact non-emergency dispatch to make a report 970-242-6707.
