We are pleased to serve the community as the Captains of the Law Operations Division of the Mesa County Sheriff's Office.
We are honored to be a part of the professional growth of the organization in its quest to build the most experienced and highly capable law enforcement agency on the Western Slope.
It is a privilege to share with you the services and special teams provided to the community by our Law Operations Division.
Crime Reduction Unit
The Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) is a proactive problem-solving unit serving the citizens of our community.
Drug Task Force
The Western Colorado Drug Task Force is a joint effort of several law enforcement agencies in the area that coordinate resources to investigate the illegal distribution of drugs.
Major Offender Task Force
The Major Offender Task Force (MOTF) partners with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies to locate and apprehend wanted criminals within the community.
Patrol
Patrol deputies respond to 911 calls for assistance and are mobile in the community to help deter crime.
Rural Area Deputy
The Rural Area Deputy (RAD) team provides a friendly law enforcement presence to those who live, work, and play in the rural areas of Mesa County.
School Resource Officer Unit
School Resource Officers provide a law enforcement presence and support crime prevention efforts in local schools.
