Permanently affixing manufactured home to real estate

In order to start the process the manufactured home has to be sitting on a foundation, without any wheels or axles. For taxing purposes it eliminates the manufactured home account combining it with the real estate account.

To purge a manufactured home, you will need a Tax Authentication from the treasurer’s office for the manufactured home and a Certificate of Taxes Due for the land which costs $20.00

To obtain the Tax Authentication, please bring in or email the title and information of the manufactured home. The current year taxes will have to be paid in full and you will also need to prepay the taxes for the following year.  

After you receive the Tax Authentication to purge the manufactured home, please visit Motor Vehicle to continue the purge process.
