Volunteer at Mesa County Animal Services (MCAS)

Volunteers are essential to our daily operations and play a vital role in the emotional well-being of the animals in our care. To qualify for our volunteer program, individuals must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid ID.

Foster an animal

Fostering is imperative for the health and care of MCAS' unweaned puppies and kittens, as well as our special medical cases. Our greatest need is for bottle baby fosters. If you are interested in learning more about becoming a bottle baby foster, please contact Natalie Orton. For the safety of our animals, you must provide proof that your household pets have up-to-date vaccinations. Please note that MCAS must conduct a home inspection before placing any foster animals in your home.
