Stage 1 Fire Restrictions enacted

Effective beginning 12:01 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2026, until further notice. These restrictions apply to all private land and BLM managed public lands within the boundaries of the Grand Junction Field Office. For more information visit the Fire Restrictions webpage.

Primary Election - June 30, 2026

  • May 16, 2026 - Deadline to send mail ballots to military and overseas (UOCAVA) voters for June 30 Primary Election  1-8.3-110(1), Rule 16
  • June 8, 2026 - Ballots will be mailed to voters for June 30 Primary Election, except for UOCAVA voters  1-7.5-107(3)(a)(I), Rule 7.2.3
  • June 8, 2026 - 24-hour ballot drop boxes open  1-7.5-107(4.3)(b)
  • June 8, 2026 - Last day voters who are affiliated with a political party to change or withdraw their affiliation if they wish to vote in different party’s primary election  1-2-219(1)
  • June 22, 2026 - Last day for an individual to submit a voter registration and still receive a mail ballot  1-2-201(3)(b)(III)
  • June 22, 2026 - Voter Service and Polling Centers (VSPCs) open  1-7.5-107(4.5)(c), Rule 7.8.1
  • June 22, 2026 - Last day the elections office can mail ballots to voters. Voters must pick up their ballot in person starting June 23  1-7.5-107(3)(a)(I), Rule 7.2.3
  • June 30, 2026 - Primary Election Day - All ballots must be in the hands of the county clerk by 7:00 pm  1-4-101(1), 1-7-101(1), 1-7.5-107(4)(b)(II), Rule 7.8.1(c)
  • July 8, 2026 - Last day to receive military and overseas (UOCAVA) ballots in order to be counted  1-8.3-111, 1-8.3-113(2), Rule 16.1.5,  Rule 16.2.1(c)
  • July 8, 2026 - Last day for a voter to cure a signature discrepancy or missing signature or to provide missing ID  1-7.5-107(3.5)(d), 1-7.5-107.3(2)(a), 1-8.5-105(3)(a), Rule 7.6.1, Rule 7.6.5
  • July 22, 2026 - Last day to complete the canvass and submit the official abstract of votes cast for the June 30 Primary Election  1-10-102(1), 1-10-103(1)

 

General Election - November 3, 2026

  • September 19, 2026 - Deadline to send mail ballots to military and overseas (UOCAVA) voters for November 3 General Election  1-8.3-110(1), Rule 16
  • October 2, 2026 - Ballots will be mailed to voters for November 3 General Election, except for UOCAVA voters  1-7.5-107(3)(a)(I), 1-7.5-107(3)(a)(II), Rule 7.2.3
  • October 2, 2026 - 24-hour ballot drop boxes open  1-5-102.9(5)(c)
  • October 19, 2026 - Voter Service and Polling Centers (VSPCs) open  1-5-102.9(2), Rule 7.8.1(a)
  • October 26, 2026 - Last day for an individual to submit a voter registration and still receive a mail ballot  1-2-201(3)(b)(III), 1-2-201(4), 1-2-508(3)(a)(I)
  • October 26, 2026 - Last day the elections office can mail ballots to voters. Voters must pick up their ballot in person starting October 27  1-2-201(4), 1-2-508(3)(a)(l), Rule 7.2.3
  • November 3, 2026 - General Election Day - All ballots must be in the hands of the county clerk by 7:00 pm  1-1-104(17), 1-4-201, 1-7.5-107(4)(b)(II), 1-8.3-111, 1-8.3-113(1), 1-8.3-113(2), Rule 7.8.1(c)
  • November 12, 2026 - Last day to receive military and overseas (UOCAVA) ballots in order to be counted  1-1-106(4), 1-8.3-111, 1-8.3-113(2), Rule 16.1.5, Rule 16.2.1(c)
  • November 12, 2026 - Last day for a voter to cure a signature discrepancy or missing signature or to provide missing ID  1-1-106(4), 1-7.5-107(3.5)(d), 1-7.5-107.3(2)(a), 1-8.5-105(3)(a), Rule 7.5.1, Rule 7.6.5
  • November 25, 2026 - Last day to complete the canvass and submit the official abstract of votes cast for the November 3 General Election  1-10-102(1), 1-10-103(1)
