At this week’s Nov. 19 public hearing, the Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved a $20 million grant application to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Environmental and Climate Justice Community Change Grant program!

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, most Mesa County offices are closed on Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29.

Mesa County is implementing significant changes to its animal services operations to improve animal welfare and enhance public safety. At the Nov. 12 public hearing, the Mesa County Commissioners approved a $341,547 design agreement to replace the MM-39.45-H.75 Rapid Creek Culvert on Rapid Creek Road. This critical project will move forward to ensure water flows safely and our infrastructure remains reliable.
