Residential Community Corrections

Mesa County Community Corrections houses an average 160 individuals. Clients generally spend eight to 12 months in the residential setting prior to progressing to non-residential status.  

Upon arrival, each new client is assigned a Case Manager who will engage in an assessment process to determine individual risks and needs. Case plans are then developed and referrals to services are made. The Case Manager will oversee progress on individual goals and will assist them in successfully progressing through the program. 

The residential campus has around the clock staff who oversee daily operations and engage in coaching clients toward compliance with required program guidelines. 

Services assist clients in maintaining stability with their sobriety, employment and relationships, as well as ensuring community safety. Clients may receive a variety of services:

• Life skills coaching
• Support Groups
• Referrals to Community Resources
