Mesa County Public Health has issued a No Burn Advisory for Thursday, April 2, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. due to windy conditions. Burning of any kind, including agricultural burning, is not allowed during this advisory period. Check conditions on our Air Quality webpage.

Warrant Forgiveness Day 65 warrants cleared in Mesa County

Mesa County's first-ever Warrant Forgiveness Day, held on Oct. 19, 2024, marked a successful effort to clear outstanding warrants and resolve cases, providing a fresh start for many community members. A total of 65 warrants were canceled, and as promised — no arrests were made — allowing participants to address their legal matters without fear of being taken into custody.

Mesa County Voters to Receive $100 TABOR Refund Checks

Mesa County is refunding excess revenues to its 114,839 active registered voters, following the voter-approved Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights (TABOR) requirements. TABOR limits the growth of government revenues and requires the County to return any excess funds to taxpayers.
