Mesa County and its consultants are conducting geotechnical drilling and soil
sampling activities in the Lunch Loops area from Oct. 21, 2024, through Oct. 29,
2024. Please be respectful to the personnel working in the area and remain at a safe distance from all heavy equipment.

At the Oct. 15 public hearing, the Mesa County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved a grant agreement with the Colorado Department of Transportation for the $800,000 Consolidated Planning Grant for 2025.

The 21st Judicial District is offering residents with certain active warrants an opportunity to clear their records and move forward with their lives. Warrant Forgiveness Day will take place tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 19, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Mesa County Justice Center, 125 N. Spruce St.

At the Oct. 15 public hearing, the Mesa County Commissioners approved the Clerk and Recorder's purchase of 12 new Ballot On-Demand printers from Runbeck Election Services — a $105,300 investment that will save taxpayer dollars and make our elections more secure.

O Road is closed from 16 Road to 17 Road as Mesa County crews widen and improve the road.

Mesa County will begin restoration efforts on Oct. 17 in the wetland area south of Ken Nesbitt Lake, near the Riverfront Trail at 30 Road and C 1/2 Road.
