During the Aug. 27 public hearing, the commissioners approved Todd Hollenbeck’s employment contract as Mesa County Administrator — Hollenbeck will take the helm on Jan. 4, 2025.

Mesa County Department of Human Services (MCDHS) Fraud and Recovery Unit recently sent a case of suspected public assistance fraud to the District Attorney’s Office.

At the Aug. 19 public hearing, the Board of County Commissioners approved a $134,000 contract to install an emergency generator at the Mesa County Community Services Campus, 510 29 ½ Road, home to three of the County’s key service providers. This means that in the event of a power outage, Mesa County Public Health, Department of Human Services, and Workforce Center will continue to serve you without interruption.
