Summit View moves to new facility

Last week, on May 31, 2024, Summit View Treatment Services moved its operations to 436 S. 7th St. The newly renovated facility increases Summit View’s operational capacity by 80% and allows them to gradually reduce the wait times for Mesa County residents to receive addiction treatment services from an average of 17 days to less than a week.

County accepts grant for Japanese Beetle eradication efforts

At their June 4 administrative public hearing, the Mesa County Commissioners ratified the Public Work Director’s signature, accepting a $110,000 grant from the Colorado Department of Agriculture to assist in Mesa County's effort to eradicate the Japanese Beetle.
