County Adopts Resolution in Response to Immigration Influx

The Mesa County Board of County Commissioners has passed Resolution No. 2024-13, officially declaring Mesa County as a Non-Sanctuary County. This decision is a direct response to the growing immigration influx and its associated challenges, as seen in neighboring areas such as Denver.

Paint purchase approved to re-stripe Mesa County roads

Did you know Mesa County sustains over 400 miles of striped roads? That's a lot of ground to cover, so this week, the Mesa County Commissioners approved a $297,960 purchase of 15,000 gallons of white paint and 11,100 gallons of yellow paint, gearing us up for plans to re-stripe every Mesa County road this year.

Juvenile Diversion and Lighthouse Program Open House
