Our Noxious Weed Department is advising residents to look out for leafy spurge (Euphorbia esula), a noxious weed that is native to Eurasia and has become widespread in North America. If you encounter leafy spurge, please report it to Mesa County Noxious Weed and Pest Management at weed.pest@mesacounty.us or call 970-255-7121. Community spay/neuter clinic coming to Mesa County Aug. 7 through 10
A Denver-based non-profit, Bergen Spay & Neuter Alliance, will host a four-day spay and neuter clinic at the Mesa County Fairgrounds, 2785 US-50, on Aug. 7 through 10, to offer discounted spay and neuter services to community members who struggle to afford the procedure for their pets.
