Don’t let the size of this invasive and highly damaging Japanese Beetle fool you. Mesa County is currently working to eradicate a population of Japanese Beetles discovered in the Appleton area of Mesa County.
Japanese Beetles feed on 300 species of plants, including peaches, grapes, and other fruits contributing to Palisade fruit and wine-associated tourism which brings nearly $76 million annually to the local economy.

Mesa County Elections is excited to announce the final audit tool for the 2021 Coordinated Election as requested by the Board of County Commissioners. The public can now easily access and view the voted electronic ballot images to verify election results.

Mesa County South Broadway Shoulder Project Update
Beginning Feb. 6 through Feb. 10, a full closure of Spoon Court will be in effect.
On Feb. 13, the project will undergo a winter shutdown through March. 20, 2023, due to the availability of asphalt.
