No Burn Advisory

Mesa County Public Health has issued a No Burn Advisory for Monday, March 30, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. due to fire danger concerns. Burning of any kind, including agricultural burning, is not allowed during this advisory period. Check conditions on our Air Quality webpage.

The yellow starthistle causes chewing disease that can be fatal to livestock and degrades recreational areas where it is prevalent due to the sharp spines surrounding the flower heads.
