Purchase order approved for 12 on-demand ballot printers

At the Oct. 15 public hearing, the Mesa County Commissioners approved the Clerk and Recorder's purchase of 12 new Ballot On-Demand printers from Runbeck Election Services — a $105,300 investment that will save taxpayer dollars and make our elections more secure.

Commissioners send letter to River Network in support of De Beque’s grant application

The Board of Mesa County Commissioners unanimously approved a letter of support to River Network for the Town of De Beque's Rooting Resilience application for a $75,000 grant. If granted, the funding will provide grant dollars and technical assistance to community-based projects that build resilience and enhance our community’s ability to plan and carry out forestry projects.

Mesa County will begin restoration efforts on Oct. 17 in the wetland area south of Ken Nesbitt Lake, near the Riverfront Trail at 30 Road and C 1/2 Road.
