Grant Signed for Rosevale Road Drainage Improvement Project
The Rosevale Road Drainage Improvement Project’s first stages are underway. At the recent administrative public hearing on Oct. 17, the County Commissioners granted approval for the Public Works Director to sign a grant award letter worth $1.2 million. This grant, funded by the Division of Homeland Security & Emergency Management as part of COVID-19 relief efforts, marks a crucial step forward in addressing the drainage and flooding issues that affect property owners near Rosevale Road.

Registered voters, look for your Coordinated Election ballot
On Monday, Oct. 16, ballots were mailed to all active Mesa County registered voters. Ballots must be received by 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023. An Election Day postmark does not count.

Congratulations, Joaquin Moncada!
Today, the Board of County Commissioners recognized Joaquin, an eight-year-old in our community, for his outstanding character and leadership. Recently, he took it upon himself to remove inappropriate graffiti from the Rocky Mountain Elementary Park playground. He did this to protect his younger peers and ensure that the playground continues to bring children and our community joy.
